It is no secret that there has been a painful debate over the relationship between race and gender. It has been building for a long time, but the fierce primary battle between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton brought it to the fore. We have included links to to two recent articles that have starkly contrasting views on this controversy. She was a newspaper editor and publisher, investigative journalist, co-founder of the NAACP, political candidate, mother, wife, and the single most powerful leader in the anti-lynching campaign in America.
